Das Bauhaus is one of the great historic Design schools, running from 1919 to 1933.
Design coming out of the school influenced architecture, design art en new media.

The best design in my opinion where the product designs that were focused on industrial productions and craftsmanship.
Al the designs are innovative and contemporary which makes them the Classic design of Today.

Some of the most well know names that are connected to Das Bauhaus are:

• Walter Gropius
• Hannes Meyer
• Ludwig Mies van der Rohe

Unfortunately Das Bauhaus dissolved itself under pressure from the Nazis in 1933 as it was first forced to move out of Dessau to Berlin.

Several of the designs created during that time are shown on this website to bring inspiration for new industrial product designers as well as for website designers.
The later can look at these products to get inspired to create clean designs that focus on functionality of the site itself instead of an overload of fancy graphics.
